**Your Role**:

- Take ownership of the **Life Reserving** function for local GAAP within a dedicated reserving department.
- Analyze and review life insurance liabilities across various business units, ensuring accuracy and adequacy under Swiss Statutory Reserves.
- Support the **Appointed Actuary** by adjusting life reserves as needed and contributing to IFRS17 analysis for group consolidation.
- Lead **quarterly life reserving discussions**, ensuring processes are risk-controlled and audits are supported.
- Collaborate with teams in marketing, accounting, and risk management to drive **new business acquisition**.
- Engage in global projects, working with colleagues across the organization, and take on new challenges as they arise.
- Play a crucial role in regulatory tasks and assist in life reserving audits as needed.

**Your Profile**:

- A **university degree** in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, actuarial science, economics, accounting).
- **At least 5 years of experience** in life insurance or reinsurance (experience in life reserving or reporting is a big plus).
- In-depth knowledge of **Swiss CO, IFRS17, Solvency II**, and insurance technical accounting (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- **Creative** and open to exploring new approaches while maintaining a high level of independence.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially **Excel** (knowledge of VBA is a plus).
- **Fellow of an Actuarial Association** and committed to working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Fluent in **English**; any additional languages are a plus.
