Vicenda Group is an international investment boutique focusing on Private Debt, headquartered in Baar. Since it was founded in 2013, Vicenda has developed financing solutions for small and medium sized enterprises.
**What it’s about**:
In this position, you will collaborate with the COO and manage all Investment Operations by ensuring accurate flow of information and smooth execution. You will support the Investment Advisory Team in the operational life-cycle of transactions, take ownership of relationships with service providers, oversee their fulfilment of contracts, and undertake a diverse variety of projects and functions supporting on Corporate Operations where necessary.
This is a broad and diverse role which requires an eye for detail and the ability to identify continuous process improvements which would minimize operational risk. You will be willing to take on and develop further Investment Operational skillsets acquiring strong, specialist fund administration knowledge regarding the operations of investment structures.
**Your main responsibilities will be as follows**:
- Investment Operations:
- Take responsibility for lifecycle management of Private Debt transactions (managing investment closings and account opening processes, best execution monitoring and recording, oversight of lifecycle, monthly and quarterly reporting tasks)
- Provide overall operational support to the Investment Advisory specialists during operational events and projects
- Understand and obtain diligent command of processes, roles, and responsibilities across the firm and structures. Establish and drive process improvement efforts within Vicenda Group AG
- Take responsibility for periodic Risk and Internal Control System reporting
- Take appropriate actions to further deepen your technical know-how in and outside of the area of responsibility
- Confidence in following up with third parties. Managing stakeholders, committed approach to respective requirements
- Attentive archiving of relevant documents (electronic and physical archive)
- Corporate Operations (when required):
- Collaborate with the COO and operations team in handling all necessary corporate projects and responsibilities, providing cover for colleagues, and supporting team members where necessary
- Ad-hoc undertakings and projects to support the COO / Investment Advisory and wider team in the performance of their mandates
**What we expect**:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position - fund administration, investment administration. Luxembourg experience is a plus
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and administrative skills. You take decisions based on evidence
- Proactive, get stuff done attitude - you know that in a growing business many of the tasks will have to be spontaneous
- Right to live and work in Switzerland
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Business fluency in written and spoken German and English, fluency in other European languages is a plus
