Role Overview:
As the Head of Camps, you will take the lead in setting up and managing Copperfield’s new summer and winter camp programmes, shaping every aspect from their design to their delivery. This is a rare opportunity to create transformative student experiences from the ground up.

Reporting to the Director, you will work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and external partners to establish world-class camps that align with Copperfield’s ethos of academic excellence and outdoor adventure.

Proficiency in French is highly advantageous for this role, as it will enable you to engage effectively with local and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Programme Creation: Design, plan, and implement innovative summer and winter camp programmes that combine academic, cultural, and outdoor experiences.
- Operational Leadership: Set up the infrastructure, systems, and processes required for the successful running of the camps, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Marketing and Recruitment: Work with the marketing team to promote the camps globally, ensuring they attract students from diverse backgrounds.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with local businesses, international agents, and feeder schools to establish partnerships that support the camps.
- Team Recruitment and Training: Assemble and lead a dynamic team of camp staff, providing training and fostering a collaborative and inspiring work environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the financial plans for the camps, ensuring they are both sustainable and profitable.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing educational, outdoor, or adventure camp programmes.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for creating enriching experiences for young people.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in French being highly advantageous.
- Experience in marketing and stakeholder engagement to promote new initiatives.
- The ability to manage budgets effectively and work strategically.
