For our client, the company F. Hoffmann La Roche with headquarters in Basel, we are looking for a Research Associate in vivo models (M/F/d).

Research Associate in vivo models (M/F/d)

Background

In the Immunology group, we are developing cutting edge therapies to treat rare blood disorders. As a member ofImmunology, you will be part of a highly collaborative, international group of research associates and scientists that are developing medicines for the future. We're currently looking for a creative and experienced research

Tasks
- Preparation, handling and in vitro/ex vivo testing of patient-derived material, including blood and plasma
- Characterize and implement mouse models of hemostasis (bleeding) and thrombosis for the validation and characterization of novel therapeutic agents in the area of rare blood disordersCollaboratively design, execute, and interpret data from preclinical ex vivo/in vivo studies in the area of rare blood disorders
- Continuously improve test systems, treatment, analysis, and data evaluation.
- Contribute to work process optimization including data capture, storage and assay automationWork closely with all members of the group, share duties, maintain a clean work environment and actively
- contribute to the positive work atmosphere within the group

**Requirements**:

- MSc/BSc in Life Sciences (cellular/ molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology), or completion of an apprenticeship for a research associate with a min. 3 years of academic or industry experience (\*\*\*\*\*)
- Min. of 3 years lab experience (\*\*\*\*\*)
- Skillfully able to interact effectively with people, strong commitment to teamwork
- Gsuite, MS Office skills
- You can communicate fluently in English
- Excellent data management and record-keeping skills

Nice to haves
- LTK module 1, FELASA or equivalent certification (\*\*)
- Technical and theoretical background/expertise in hemostasis and thrombosis
- Mouse work experience; managing transgenic animals, injections, tissue sampling and processing, characterization of disease models (\*\*\*)
