Global Head of Finance

**Job Overview**

This role is the cornerstone of ensuring that all manufacturing sites globally converge towards a unified finance operating model. To build up on existing procedures, this will require an experienced leader and people developer with strong financial expertise in manufacturing operations. The global Head of Finance - Manufacturing is part of the Finance Leadership Team and directly supports the Group’s Manufacturing and Operations function while reporting to the CFO with dotted line to the COO.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Business Partner with the Group COO
- Financial responsibility of the factories’ P&L and WC.
- Own and execute the global Financial Operating Model supporting our Operations and Integrated Supply Chain.
- Continuously ensure that the Finance Operating Model brings value to the Operations & Supply Chain global leadership team by tracking performance and achievement of key processes and metrics: productivity, MatEx, OpEx, CapEx, CoPQ, conversion costs, manufacturing absorption, WC, rooftop projects, etc.
- Drive process standardization across our production units.
- Drive continuous improvement in the group Cost Accounting processes and Standard Costs deployment to allow fact-based decision making, particularly around over/under absorption, production variances and Costs of Poor Quality.
- Drive our roadmap for Product Profitability reporting, and Product Cost simulations across factories and different manufacturing processes.
- Lead and develop the Operations & Supply Chain Finance team, building talent, succession pipeline and engagement.
- Lead the Operations financial analysis cycles: variance analysis on standard costs and impact from Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Continuous Improvement, etc.
- Lead the Operations financial planning cycles.
- Responsible for the compliance agenda on production assets - inventory, WIP, fixed assets and CIP/AUC.
- Responsible for the Operations & Supply Chain conversion costs and departmental expenses (cost center’s).

**Skills and Qualification**
- University degree in Business, Finance, Science, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- 10+ years of Finance experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
- Experience in leading multicultural teams
- Solid and hands-on experience of cost accounting, product costing and manufacturing productivity in high-volume mass production environments.
- Positive, “can-do” attitude, energetic leader able to gather energy and build followership.
- Analytical mindset, focused on proposing options to resolve problems, rather than reporting problems.
- Solid communication skills -verbal and written.
- Ability to gain trust at all levels of the organisation.
- Languages: Fluent in English
- Mobility: ~35% of Travel (US, Asia), of which ~3 weeks per quarter in Taiwan and ~1 week per quarter in the US
