**One of Switzerland's famous and large organisations who are leading experts in a niche industry have created a unique opening for an experienced Principal Proprietary Trader. For many years they have serviced several highly respected organisations throughout Switzerland, innovation is at the heart of what they do.**

The type of person that we are looking for:

- Sound experience of the financial markets within a proprietary trading environment.
- Full knowledge of European energy trading markets which could include gas, electric, oil, power, renewable, wind power, natural gas, carbon emissions, heating oil, stocks, bonds, FX and other related areas with proven results please to your track record.
- Large scale network within the commodity markets across Europe.
- Fully versed in all aspects such as macro trading, technical analysis, fundamental analysis, volatility, arbitrage and other methods.
- Some software programming abilities would be useful but not essential.
- Must be able to live and work in Switzerland please as this is not fully remote.
- For a role like this we would expect you to live and breathe the financial markets with vast experience in this space ranging from hedge funds through to trading desks.
- You will be an expect with risk management and generating returns within the energy markets.
- A professional with strong work principles ready to be part of an organisation.
- We would expect that you hold some recognised qualifications within the financial markets and relating to trading.
