The Global Supply Chain Director runs multi-site and multi-BU projects and initiatives to improve processes and to resolve issues in the area of warehousing with the aim to drive supply chain performance. The position reports Division Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators and suggests improvement actions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Runs projects to improve Supply Chain processes across sites and Business Units
- Leads or participates in initiatives, projects or task forces to resolve major issues impacting service or cost. Performs root cause analysis, defines actions plans and implements, provides status updates to stakeholders and leads SC projects as well as represents SC in x-functional projects with Operations, Purchasing, Finance, QA, to improve processes, practices, changes of operating models etc.
- Works closely with Group SC Center of Excellence in implementing Lonza-wide initiatives. Leverages standard processes and systems including WHM
- Drives data integrity improvement activities
- Defines and implements remediation and preventive actions identified during audits and inspections
- Reports warehouse Key Performance Indicators, develops new KPIs, ensures data integrity, makes outcome available with stakeholders, suggests improvement actions

**Key requirements**:

- Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics
- Extensive experience within Supply Chain, warehousing and Logistics within the pharma or life sciences industry
- High expertise in conceptual design
- Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
