**About the job**:

- Enabling the digital transformation of core business operations by transferring and streamlining core processes to software solutions. Your role as Cloud Architect is key to this highly complex process transition. You will be in charge of developing a comprehensive cloud architecture and providing directions throughout the build and/or migration phase, including specific responsibilities, such as:

- Determine and record the process of integrating IT solutions into the Cloud to meet the organisation's business requirements
- Define and document the end-to-end solution architecture, including the necessary cloud components or services, CI/CD pipelines, and any required system integration
- Collaborate and share knowledge with Product Owners, Software Architects, and Enterprise Architects from different teams and regions
- Explain to stakeholders the rationale of the decision taken in relation to the architecture
- Analyse and explain to stakeholders the business impact of the technical options
- Continuously research new technologies
- Propose improvements to the existing architecture

**About you**:

- Outstanding Master's degree from a reputable university or college
- Fluent language skills (minimum B2 level) in German and English
- 2 or more years of professional experience in designing cloud solutions
- Knowledge of basic technology (e.g., network or web protocols, infrastructure, authentication, operating system, CI/CD, etc.)
- Knowledge of best practices (e.g., security, event-based architecture, RESTful APIs, Webhook, WAFs, oAuth2, OpenID, proxy, encryptions, etc.)
- Understanding of IT security, cloud offerings, and services and governance
- Understanding of the ITIL 4 framework or basics of TOGAF Foundations
- Knowledge of project and resource management
- Knowledge of good documentation practices (e.g., infrastructure diagram, UML, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
- Leadership experience would be a plus
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- High level of teamwork and social skills, and good at explaining complex issues to non-specialists
