**Your team**:

- Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA) is a leading alternative investment specialist and wholly owned subsidiary of the Pictet Group, with expertise in hedge funds, private equity and global real estate. With teams based globally the PAA teams construct, manage and advise on portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.- The Group has strong development ambitions for PAA for the coming years, notably to expand its product offering to include additional asset classes and to further develop its institutional client base. In view of these developments, Pictet Alternative Advisors is looking to hire a Real Estate Investment Manager with strong Real Estate experience and expertise to steer its development.- You will be joining a dynamic and growing multi manager real estate team, investing in funds, co-investments and secondary transactions organised by geographies and sectors, managing a portfolio of about 45 top-tier GPs with AUM of USD 3.5bn.**Your role**:

- Based in Geneva and working in pair with a Senior Investment Manager, you will be mainly covering two key real estate investment markets: Western Europe and the U.S.A. Your mission will include the following:
- 1. Strategy- Participating in defining the strategy within the Multi Manager Real Estate team to build up a portfolio of funds and co-investments.
- Identifying industry trends and performing research to build strong convictions.
- Developing new relationships through brokers and a professional network of contacts and business partners.

2. Investment- Sourcing, meeting and selecting private real estate managers active across the target regions and sectors.
- Presenting and defending recommendations in front of the investment committee.
- Performing the appropriate due diligence and underwriting on funds, co-investments and secondary opportunities.
- Monitoring existing investments and reporting key relevant information.
- Running ad hoc analyses and answering clients’ requests.

3. Team development- Participating actively in the development of the Multi Manage Real Estate investment team.
- Interacting with PAA Real Estate stakeholders including bankers, customer relationship managers, and clients.

**Your profile**:

- Advanced university degree in Finance, Economics or another degree deemed equivalent.
- A minimum of seven years’ work experience in real estate, either through direct, fund investments or investment banking supported by a personal track record.
- Proven analytical / logical thinking capabilities, diligent, with a keen eye for detail and focus on results.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to present and express your convictions in a clear manner.
- Perfect command of English and at least one other European language (basic communication skills in French will be a plus).
- As the successful applicant you will be conscientious and open-minded with a natural approach to managing different cultures and ways of thinking. You will also be highly motivated and able to work both independently and as a team player. In addition to bringing the skills and experience that you have acquired, your keen sense of discretion and ethics will be greatly valued.**Note**:
