Associate Director, Cmo Planner

**The Role**:
**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Lead planning processes with CMO, driving key discussions with functional counterpart, on a weekly and monthly basis.

Ensure planning and supply chain standards are properly implemented within the own area of competence.

Oversight the short-term production, release and supply plan for the phases under their responsibility. Identify potential deviation from the plan, escalate the issue through the internal meeting governance.

Oversight the CMO Capacity over the tactical horizon for DS, with the aim to optimize capacity, based on the requirements coming from the S&OP process.

Monthly development of a valid and optimized Production Plan proposal, for the planning horizon, highlighting major risks, issues and required decisions. Preparation of appropriate presentation materials to enable effective review of the proposal via the supply review process.

Maintain adequate planning & master data parameters (e.g. MOQ, Lead Times, order frequency) setting in close collaboration with master data mgt.

Weekly measurement of performance including on-time supply to plan, inventory vs. target inventory, and Site inventories of critical materials (supplied by Moderna) vs. target. Use root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and lead resolution of the issues so that target performance levels are consistently achieved.

Assure material availability on weekly - monthly basis together with Global material planning team.

Develop/Refine CMO Process

Develop and manage the relationship with External Suppliers and to customers for all supply related matters, such as demand/supply planning and analysis and order management to guarantee high customer service levels including stock management.

**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Science or Economics/Finance with 15 years’ experience.

10+ years’ experience as a Production Planner within Biotech, Pharma or other related batch production manufacturing environments. DS CMO experience strongly preferred

8+ years’ experience with SAP MPS and MRP

APICS/ASCM CPIM and CSCP accreditations preferred.

Working knowledge of site supply chain processes including demand management, S&OP, production planning, capacity planning, material planning and procurement, order fulfilment, master data and life-cycle management.

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, at all levels, in a CMO environment.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across boundaries (functional and cultural) and form effective working relationships with colleagues.

Customer and business focused - determined to deliver successful outcomes in a cost-effective way.

Demonstrated change management and process management experience is preferred: demonstrated usage of data to drive process improvements.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
