**Takeda Switzerland is currently hiring an experienced **Data Strategy & Governance Lead**, to join our **Strategy & Innovation (S&I) team.**

As part of the S&I Data & Insights (D&I) team and putting our patient at the heart of everything you do, you will play a significant role in transforming Takeda Switzerland into the most trusted, science-driven, digital biopharmaceutical company. Your work will ensure Takeda Switzerland has the data quality, data culture, and data literacy to unleash the power of data & digital and become AI ready. Working in close collaboration with the Swiss Local Operating Country (LOC) LOC cross-functional partners, as well as regional and cross-LOC teams, you will:

- Build a data culture that understands the power of data and treat data as strategic assets
- Enable business to create value using data in a timely manner
- Improve quality of customer engagement and operational efficiency by ensuring high quality data
- Facilitate scaling of global/EUCAN solution by establishing global/EUCAN data standards
- Build trust and protect Takeda’s reputation by exercising proper data security, data privacy, data access permission, and data retention

**Your task in detail**:

- Align with the Business on their data needs and data issues, and serve as a Point-of-Contact for questions regarding their data domain
- Being consulted at the beginning of each data-generating project to ensure well thought-through data strategy and proper exercise of data standard
- Propose improvements and escalate issues to EUCAN Data Governance Council
- Responsible for defining, executing and maintaining data standards, measuring data quality (i.e., adherence to standard) and proposing improvement actions
- Acts as gatekeeper in LOC to ensure all data requests are aligned with standards
- Manage and maintain metadata repositories (data catalogue, business glossary) and data classification process (identification of sensitive data).
- Provide inputs on the design and development of data models for data warehousing, reporting, and analytics projects, contributing to successful completion of project deliverables.
- Responsible for the customer domain data needs from the LOC NGCE tech eco-system (CRM, Marketing automation, content, reporting)
- Work closely with OCE team to ensure generation of granular rich data in every digital projects
- Work closely with Data Privacy Lead to ensure exercising of proper data security, data privacy, data access permission, and data retention in our process
- Ensure proper data access - the right people, to the right data, for how long
- Drive change management of data governance projects

**Your profile**:

- 6+ years of progressive experience in a combination of both business & technical roles
- 3+ years of leading a data strategy, analytics, or similar teams Great understanding of pharma business, Swiss pharma data landscape, and experience in salesforce effectiveness (SFE) or Customer Excellence (CX) methodology
- Knowledge of Salesforce tech stack and data model an asset
- Knowledge of at least one of SQL, R, Python
- Working knowledge of Databricks
- Project Management and Change Management Experience
- Strong ability to influence without authority

- Navigating projects in ambiguity and overcome with clarity and plan of action
- Great communication skills with ability to tailor abstract/complex data concept to any level of organization
