**Position Overview**:
The R&D department is looking for an intern to strengthen its team and become a reference in the large-scale mobility market. This position may involve being assigned to a long-running development project with important responsibilities and / or smaller supporting tasks for the R&D team.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Support the production and testing of material samples
- _Skills: composite materials characterisation, epoxy resin infusion, _
- Research, develop and validate new or existing material solutions and processes
- _Skills: basic of automotive quality and validation processes, data analysis, _
**Qualifications and Personal Qualities**:
- B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
- Interest and experience in composite manufacturing and materials science
- Some knowledge and understanding of standard test methods for composites
- English language required. Any other language is also appreciated
- Driving curiosity for independent problem solving
- Able to work autonomously and share relevant information with the team spontaneously
- Structured way of working with an ability to handle many projects in parallel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
**We Offer**:
- 1’500 CHF / month gross salary (pro rata)
- 2.5 weeks paid vacation for 6 months (pro rata)
- High level of expertise to learn from and progress on composite manufacturing, testing, design, life cycle analysis, etc
