Staff Research Scientist in Charge of Research Into Wheat and Soybean Quality

**This is how you can contribute**:
- In charge of the 'Cereals and Soybean Quality' Laboratory, analyses and results
- In charge of the legal task of the official quality inspection of wheat (and other cereals) in official variety trials
- Developing innovative tools and protocols for the analysis of wheat and soybean quality as well as efficient strategies for their incorporation in breeding programmes
- Managing, coordinating and motivating three technicians employed in the laboratory for post-harvest wheat and soybean quality
- Setting up research projects and scientific partnerships; acquisition of third-party funding
- Developing, planning and implementing the analyses and managing interactions with different partners
**This makes you unique**:
- Highly motivated researcher with a PhD in the Group's research areas: plant-quality research, biochemistry, genetics and plant breeding, genomics, plant biotechnology
- Hands-on experience in biotechnology, genomics, bioinformatics and molecular biology
- National and international network in the research field
- Strong leader with good communication skills: an open, flexible and performance-oriented personality with a strong team spirit
- Proven experience in publishing in peer-reviewed publications
- Very good knowledge of two official Swiss languages and spoken and written English
