**Position Overview**

**General Responsibilities**
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts, fixed assets, and other sub-ledgers
- Preparation of month
- and year end closing
- General ledger entries
- Monitoring of other receivables and payables (e.g., social security accounts)
- First level approval of purchase orders and invoices
- Working closely with our shared services (AR, AP & general ledger accountants)
- Capitalizing and scrapping of fixed assets
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Contact for audits.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
- 3+ years relevant accounting experience.
- International experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience with AP/AR and General Ledger functions

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong research and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with internal and external contacts.
- Knowledge and skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Flexible and open attitude to work.
