As a Communication Business Partner at IKEA Switzerland, you are part of the Communication function, and you will play an essential role in positioning IKEA as a meaningful and trusted brand in the hearts and minds of our customers and stakeholders. You will lead the development and execution of effective 360° communication plans to drive business growth and transformation, and ensure our co-workers are informed, engaged, and empowered.

- Experienced Communicator: Experience in both internal and external communications with a strong track record of creative content development and storytelling, and an understanding of business challenges and opportunities.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to connect communication activities with business outcomes, ensuring a measurable impact on IKEA’s growth and transformation.
- Creative Visionary: A natural storyteller with the ability to transform complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives that captivate and inspire.
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to guide and support senior leaders, with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships.
- Passion for Communication: A deep-seated passion for using communication as a business enabler and a commitment to the IKEA culture and values.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice in English and German, or English and French respectively.
- Creative and Digital Savvy: Extensive knowledge of digital communication channels and the ability to leverage them effectively within the IKEA ecosystem.

**Your responsibilities**
- Communication Expertise: Act as the go-to communication expert for your assigned business area, providing strategic advice and support to meet communication needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business partners in specific functions, understanding their objectives to align communication strategies with desired business outcomes.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic communication planning process, ensuring the alignment of resources and buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Content Development: Create and deploy communication content across all touchpoints in close collaboration with team members and internal and external partners. Craft and disseminate key messages, ensuring consistency and impact in both words and visuals.
- Project Management: Drive and manage internal and external communication projects, including media relations, social media, event planning, and internal communications, while considering various stakeholder perspectives to achieve business goals.
- Trend Identification: Stay ahead of local and global trends to develop innovative communication initiatives that align with IKEA’s values and business plan.
