**Our client**: A well-established bank with a small but growing office in Geneva (fully regulated Swiss subsidiary). Strong shareholder base and entrepreneurial working atmosphere. It has been offering traditional private banking services to its clients for many years and is a respected brand. **Position**: Leading a team, this hands-on operational "mini CFO" role, is essentially to ensure that the finance and accounting system adapted to the size of the company and the nature of its activities is in place and operating correctly - following "le régime des petites banques" (category 5) of FINMA. To include controlling cash flow, monthly financial statements, compliance with accounting principles, reporting and regulations as well as coordinating internal controls and liaison with external auditors. Participating in various committees as requested by the Managing Director, the preparation of documentation and reports required by the Board of Directors. **Profile**: - 8-10 years++ experience in Swiss banking accounting, finance and controlling - including FINMA reporting Head of Finance experience in the banking sector (and/or in a Big 4 where you have audited small banks) Strong people management experience with a pragmatic approach You are used to working on the ground ("hands on/hands dirty") and not just at strategic and supervisory level You already have experience in a category 4 or 5 Swiss bank Broad experience of financial reporting, accounting and controlling A self-starter with the ability to think outside the box - happy and used to a small but growing, entrepreneurial structure French mother tongue, fluent English Excellent IT skills Ability to commit to a full-time, 100% position (no home office) Swiss residency
