In order to support our continued growth Lonza is seeking a Shift Leader to join our team in Visp, Switzerland.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Leading, assessing, coaching and developing employees
- Embodying our Culture of Safety, Quality, personal development and constant learning and improvement
- Setting priorities and prioritising resources to meet deadlines
- Participation in the investigation of deviations and improvement projects
- Guarantee of security, GMP compliance etc.
- Creation and timely implementation of training plans
- Recognize, interpret and correct deviations
- Comparison of cross-company process steps (relationships, dependencies, processes)
- Administrative tasks such as managing shift handovers, inspections and creating instructions

**Key requirements**:

- Several years of professional experience as a shift leader, deputy or system specialist in pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech production
- Structured, focused and organized way of working, assertive and motivated, working independently, flexible and resilient
- High attitude for Safety, Quality, Solution focus and Collaboration
- Comprehensive knowledge of production processes and interrelationships in a large production area with detailed knowledge of all process steps and systems
- Fluency in English (written and oral), German would be an advantage
- Commitment to work in shift (4-shift system)
