mimic is an early stage deep tech robotics & AI start-up based in Zurich and supported by leading VCs. We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labour tasks and mitigate labour shortages with a versatile automation platform. Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real world.
As our GTM Lead, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our business by driving customer acquisition, professionalizing internal processes, and exploring strategic opportunities. You will collaborate directly with the founders and contribute to shaping the company’s commercial strategy from the ground up.
Tasks
- Professionalize Business Development: Establish scalable business development and marketing processes, manage corporate sales efforts, and negotiate contracts.
- Customer & Partnership Acquisition: Drive the exploration of potential markets and verticals to identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive Pipeline growth: Own the outbound sales channels by implementing effective communication and outreach strategies.
- Attract and onboard top talent: Recruit and train new BDRs and AE into the team, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
**Requirements**:
- 2-3+ years in business development, sales, or strategy, ideally in early-stage startups or fast-paced environments.
- Proven track record in identifying, engaging and convert potential customers, particularly in B2B or industrial verticals such as logistics or robotics.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for building processes and growing with an early-stage company.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, financial software, and productivity tools.
**Nice to have**:
- Experience with logistics, generative AI, or robotics markets and customers.
- Knowledge of video, photography, or graphic design.
- Event management or organisational expertise.
