Wheel Shop Mechanic

To support and develop Part-145 aircraft maintenance department, Nomad Technics AG at Basel EuroAirport is looking for a qualified, flexible and dynamic Wheel Shop Mechanic

**Your tasks**:

- Responsible for work on aircraft wheels and tires which includes the whole Preparation of the wheels for refurbishment, disassembly and cleaning of aircraft wheels as well as paint stripping
- Reassembly of wheels, mounting of aircraft tires including torquing, inflation and pressure testing
- Accomplish all work assigned to him in accordance with the policies, procedures and specification set forth in the repair station manual, other customer maintenance policies and procedures (as applicable), the appropriate manufacturer's manuals, and all current Federal Aviation regulations
- Assist the Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship

**Your profile**:

- Mechanical/Technical apprenticeship with at least 2 years of relevant practical experience in a Part 145 organization
- Ability to carry out activities relating to the wheel store independently
- Ability to complete basic maintenance tasks under supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer
- You are reliably and accurately at all times with very good team player skills, self-driven and pro-active attitude
- High level of flexibility in working times and multicultural teams
- Fluent in English (German or French is of advantage) - Swiss or EU citizen
- Domiciled in the Area of EuroAirport Basel
