**BAT SWITZERLAND IS LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS INSIGHTS & PLANNING EXECUTIVE**

**FUNCTION**:Marketing / SP&I (New categories)

**LOCATION**:Lausanne, Switzerland

**REPORTS TO**:Senior Insights & Foresight Manager CH & Austria

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
- Ensure OTIF and accuracy of reports delivered according to the business cycle process (both internal and external stakeholders).
- Generate Insights on market trends and provide share forecast on a constant forward-looking perspective.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**

**Forecasting and Planning**
- Lead and maintain the best accurate Total Market THP share forecast
- Align the BAT share forecast with the Demand and Supply Team during the monthly cycle planning process
- Management of the share forecast Macro impactors
- Management of ad-hoc requests (analysis the cause of an underperforming brand)
- Manage and maintain the THP consumption modelling tool

**Strategic Reporting**
- Ensure OTIF and reliability of reports delivered according to the business cycle process (both internal and external)
- Ensure that all relevant marketing information (reports/dashboards) is accurate and available to meet company business needs
- Ensure planning reporting to above market is performed on time in full

**Business insight generation**
- Continuously analyze and interpret market, brand and segment dynamics
- Assess data, surveys to generate insights on market trends

**Competition intelligence**
- Centralize all competition information and ensure user friendly restitution to the business
- Proactively engage with all relevant functions to ensure qualitative and exhaustive gathering of all local competition information

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Good mastery of Tableau/ Microsoft BI/ Excel
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; French or German would be a plus
- Forecasting techniques
- Competitive analysis
- Data collection
- High level of attention to detail, through analytical skills, rational decision making
- Strong interpersonal skills and being a team player
- Seek for efficiency, solution oriented

**Experience**
- Ideally 3 years of experience in tobacco or a similar FMCG category
- Preferably some experience in Brand or Trade marketing
- Experience in working with complex planning process and numerous stakeholders
- Experience of interpreting marketing information data and presenting conclusions to middle and/or Senior management
