MAIN PURPOSE:
The role of the Temp Underwriting Assistant is to support the Underwriting teams in their day to day handling during the busy renewal period.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in data preparation and handling of quotations- Entering data in SICS and the company internal tool “Compass”- Data formatting, import and validation- General administration such as electronic filing, scanning and archiving of documents etc- Ability to work in different languages and to interpret and translate into English

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
Technical Skills- University degree or equivalent; or completed apprenticeship in the commercial area- At least one year reinsurance/insurance experience- SICS experience is an advantage- Fluent in English (written and spoken); any other language appreciated- Strong flair for IT (solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
