The Events Coordinator for Hexagon’s Geosystems division supports the Global Events Manager and is tasked with the efficient organisation of in-person and digital events. The role also includes event promotional activities, coordination of digital event tools, optimisation and documentation of event processes, reporting, governance and training.

This position is part of a de-centralised Global Marketing team with colleagues based around the world. The role is based out of our Zug, Switzerland and reports into the Global Events Manager.

- Support the organisation and execution of key internal and external events including tradeshows, conferences and trainings
- Network and collaborate with event stakeholders within Hexagon to deliver events that reach business objectives, share best practices and leverage knowledge
- Manage supplier relationships with event venues, hotels, booth builders, audio visual contractors, catering services, etc.
- Help plan and activate promotional activities across inbound and outbound channels with key stakeholders
- Coordinate speaker and attendee registration, promotion and logistics
- Train and support colleagues on event processes and digital event tools such as lead capture tools and digital event platforms
- Manage project tracking, budget visibility and event reporting

**This is you**:

- Educational degree in event management, marketing or related discipline
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in organising and managing events
- Demonstratable project management skills
- Skills and experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, Powerpoint) is required. Any additional experience with events management, lead generation and webinars tools, Pardot, Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite is a benefit
- Experience and ability to network remotely, build relationships and operate effectively within a de-centralised marketing community, based in different geographical locations
- A thorough understanding of the marketing communications function and how it operates within a large multinational matrix organisation is a benefit
- Engaging training and presentation skills are beneficial
- Fluent in German and English is a must. Additional language skills are beneficial
