**Job Description** About This Role**

Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing and laboratory analytical equipment. Supports manufacturing and laboratory personnel in the use, maintenance, and repair of on-site process equipment. Supports validation and engineering activities when called upon. Authors changes to procedures and job plans when required.

**What You'll Do**
- Executes assigned workorders in accordance with site procedures and policies. Creates, troubleshoots and executes corrective workorders as necessary following appropriate safety protocols.
- Coordinate a team of technician during their shift, assigning them priorities and supporting their activities for successful execution
- Provides engineering and validation support.
- Authors changes to procedures, job plans, and LOTO safety forms.

**Who You Are**

You have experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment and are skilled in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation control troubleshooting and repair, with strong safety awareness and practical knowledge of GxP regulations. You are used to being flexible working in rotating or extended shifts, including weekends.
**Qualifications**
- HS diploma AA degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a GMP regulatory environment.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge and safe use of hand tools, power tools, as well as use of basic industrial repair machinery
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems including mechanical, electrical and control principles.
- Safety conscious with understanding of various system safety controls and general Industrial safety practices.
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information in front of a group of people.
- Ability to draft SOP’s and author PMs on equipment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to work under short timelines within a manufacturing environment. Team Oriented.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, extended shifts and/or weekends.
- Practical knowledge of GxP regulations
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Project
- Six Sigma training preferred
