**Procurement Finance Excellence Team Europe**

**WHAT IS IT ABOUT**

Procurement finance partners the global procurement function in delivering the expansive cost and cash agenda for Unilever. Procurement finance is a diverse global team with representation from 20+ nationalities located primarily in 2 global hubs and 10 market locations.

**YOUR TASKS**:
Reporting to the Procurement Finance Excellence Team Director, you will be responsible for driving the performance of Europe procurement function and one of the procurement networks through superior analytics and insights. You will play a pivotal role in building the understanding of material cost performance and connecting the procurement forecast to the financial forecast and the P&L delivery.

The main role would be to:

- Drive the material cost forecast process for whole of Europe and act as network forecast lead for Packaging and Collaborative Manufacturing
- Understand the drivers of material impact for the cluster and work with Procurement and SC Finance to provide a clear signal to the business
- Lead Procurement performance management agenda for Europe and partner the Europe Procurement Leadership Team in the delivery of material cost targets
- Lead global forecasting process improvement initiatives and simplification projects
- Lead forecast cycles for Europe and Procurement network assigned
- Engage and support buyers to improve quality of the forecast
- Drive forecast accuracy through buyer scorecards
- Simplify, improve and execute Light Cycle Forecast
- Deliver material rates for transfer price updates
- Understand impacts from key material movements to guide business decision making
- Monitor saving flow through into material prices to ensure business impact
- Partner with Europe Procurement, SCF & SCFS to understand end to end Europe material cost
- Deliver quality material insights to the business
- Monitor key material KPIs (NMI, MC%TO, GM) and highlight interventions required to cluster market teams
- Lead forecast improvement initiatives across global forecast process

In this role you will be responsible for 2 direct reports.

**YOUR PROFIL**:

- Professional finance qualification
- At least 5 years experience in a comparable role preferably in FMCG sector
- Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner (Material insights, link to P&L)
- Strong analytical skills, Excel modelling skills and attention to detail
- Resilience (ability to cope with time pressure and challenges)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders
- Strong engagement, presentation and communication skills
- Strong People Management skills to guide and motivate the team for superior performance
