Lampentasche is a specialized nanny agency in Switzerland. For our client, we are looking for an experienced nanny for their son (4 years old) and daughter (6.5 years old). The family recently relocated from the US to Zug. The mom is American and the dad is German. The family rented an apartment for the nanny which is about 15 minutes away from their home otherwise the nanny can live in her own apartment close by. The starting date is upon agreement, however the sooner the better.
Tasks
- Getting the kids ready including breakfast and driving them to school in the timeframe between 07:15 - 09:30 am.
- Picking up the children at school around 03:30 pm and then spend the free time together and making sure that the homework is completed (before that run some errands if needed)
- Preparing dinner and eating together
- Evening routine with showering, story reading and then bringing kids to bed by 08/08:30 pm
- When the kids are at school there might be children-related errands to complete, grocery shopping and the laundry should be done - the rest of the time is free
- Very rarely there could be some kidsitting activities involved
**Requirements**:
- Professional, open-minded and flexible personality with a lovely manner and a fun character
- Reliability and safety-consciousness are top priorities
- Joy to support a family in everyday life and willing to help where it is needed
- Experience in a similar position as a nanny, ideally with children in the same age range, or long-term experience in working with children in a comparable environment
- Excellent driver with experience is a must
- Fluent English or German language skills, Chinese language skills would be beneficial
