At MSD our teams are passionate about bringing our vaccines to customers. For our Swiss subsidiary in Global Human Health based in Lucerne, we are currently looking for a Sales and Stakeholder Manager Vaccines who will be responsible for building a world class vaccine sales force to support the MSD Vaccine portfolio. As the Sales and Stakeholder Manager you will lead the Vaccines Customer Engagement Special team to deliver superior customer experience across Switzerland and through multiple channels. Untimely, your team will be responsible for delivery our Vaccines business goals through collaboration with key stakeholders and HCPs. You will be accompanied and supported by a passionate, high-energy and collaborative Primary Care and Vaccines Team and will report in this function to the Business Unit Director Primary Care and Vaccines.
**Major Accountabilities**
- Build a world class vaccine sales force to support HPV vaccine and the MSD Vaccine portfolio; expand sales footprint for subsequent vaccines product launches, assuring optimum field force set up, territory regions and alignment
- Utilize superior coaching abilities to enable the Vaccines Customer Engagement Specialists to deliver their highest potential individually and as a team. Continue to evolve the tight team cohesion and the psychological safety needed to consistently deliver above and beyond expected performance.
- Ensure a fully resourced and operationally effective Vaccine CES team, including team recruitment, product training, capability development, performance management and full compliance with internal processes, SOPs and the Code of Practice. Effective use, management and control of the Field-Budget.
- Collaborate directly with key HCP stakeholders within the Vaccines ecosystem to open up new customers and channels for vaccination. Shape the environment in Switzerland to enable further focus and investment on vaccination infrastructure.
- Lead the way for MSD to deliver superior customer experience through omnichannel engagements. Support the CES team in their evolution of omnichannel uptake, digital engagements and developing the mindset required to continuous challenges themselves to evolve and adapt. Continue to build from strength with new channels and explore the impact of channel strategy on business performance.
- Become market expert by developing deep market, customer, product and competitive insights. Understand the changing healthcare landscape and strategically adapt the field organization to succeed in this ever-changing environment. Deliver robust customer insight to inform and shape strategic decision making and effective lifecycle management decisions across the Vaccines business.
- Evolve the Vaccines business to become a data driven organization through adoption of data and analytics tools. Establish KPIs in collaboration with the Marketing team; track, monitor and take required action to ensure the delivery of these metrics
- Collaborate and interact closely with all other functions in the Business Unit (BU) as well as with other BUs and teams to bring forward all relevant MSD topics (e.g. in Scrum
- and Project meetings).

**Background and Professional experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, MBA preferred
- Fluency in German, English and French
- Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical, biotech or related sales leadership
- Managed Markets, Marketing experience and/or Government Affairs, Medical Affairs experience a plus
- Detailed working knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
- Documented track record of delivering successful outcomes as a line manager
- Expertise in partnering with customers building sustainable relationships and leveraging customer insights to drive solutions and strategies across the franchise that address previously unmet needs
- Proactive business approach, actively seeking creative and innovative ways to align portfolio products with customer health strategies
- Proven ability to provide performance coaching
- Proven ability to efficiently work within a project/operational matrix environment
- Familiarity with business analytics tools and methodology
- Experience with omnichannel and digital engagement preferred
**Skills and competence**
- Results orientation with a proven track record of success for consistently meeting or exceeding sales/quantitative targets and qualitative objectives
- Business knowledge of the Swiss commercial environment, field force best practices and emerging approaches
- External orientation with a demonstrable ability to establish physician thought leader and other relevant stakeholder relationships
