Testing Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- You participate to the development and testing of Diesel engines and undertake the tasks requested to validate engine components using engines in the test benches
- You work closely and support a test engineer and act as the interface between the test engineer and workshop for the engine assembly and disassembly. You also create engine assembly requests for all development engines
- You insure that tasks defined and requested during engine assembly and disassembly are correctly performed and create reports accordingly
- You sue specific measurement devices such as borescope, wrench to measure tightening and residual torque
- You are aware of the engine bill of material and corresponding running time, during all engine life
- You provide test requests and follow testing activities on test benches and analyze the measurements and write up the associated report
- You act as support in case of mechanical failures during the testing and actively participate to the continuous improvement of processes such as workflows, test procedures, assembly and disassembly procedures

**Profile**:

- You have a mechanical training in heavy duty engines or a technician training (Federal Patent Diagnosticien Educational BTS)
- A workshop and/or Test Bench experience is a plus
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in engine development and experience with combustion engines and after-treatment systems
- You have knowledge on measuring technology and testing
- You are fluent in French and have good linguistic skills in English
- You have advanced knowledge on programs such as Concerto and ERP
- You differentiate yourself with your analytical thinking skills, engagement and resilience when facing tasks. You appreciate the value of team work and are flexible when needing to work independently
