**Job Description**:
This is a critically important role, supporting the Head of Strategy and Pipeline as well as the ECP President in key strategic and organizational programs. The role will report to the Head of Strategy and Pipeline and will enable the ECP President to orchestrate most effectively with internal and external stakeholders and fulfill his/her commitments to Biogen’s patients, shareholders, and key stakeholders internally & externally. This is a strategic and facilitative role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. As the ECP President’s ‘trusted counsel’, the role requires a highly resourceful, reliable, and trustworthy individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, networking, orchestrating and analytical skills.

Working as a ‘right hand’ to the ECP President, the role will be immersed in strategic and operational analysis as well as take a lead role in driving large projects within the business. This role is typically seen as an 18 to 24 month vertical learning curve that would prepare the incumbent for a growing senior business management role at Biogen.

The incumbent will be actively involved in direct participation in decision-making processes and proximity to decision-makers.

This role requires an experienced leader that establishes the complex project & program management strategy of the organization on its way to a global - local organizational model and inspires and drives the execution of that project/program to deliver value to ECP and Biogen. This role will also be responsible to ensure that budget, investments, objectives, and the execution of ECP efforts are synchronized and coordinated to achieve our regional priorities. He / she is the key driver behind the seamless execution of the ECP programs/ projects while supporting key business processes.

The role will be responsible for:

- Drive our strategic priorities: Omnichannel go to market approach, build and implement our new global-local business model, drive BDH and our digital growth in ECP and accelerate new business opportunities and our pipeline
- Articulating a cohesive ECP Project/Program management with the ECP Leadership Team, EOS and/or program management teams with cross-functional & entrepreneurial mindset (vision, ambition, business model, goals, execution priorities) in line with ECP and Biogen’s broader strategic priorities.
- Ensure connectivity across key stakeholders and ensure overall project(s)/program(s) plan alignment with organizational planning and execution (AOP, LRP, etc.)
- Drive ECP execution through actionable goals and investment allocation (3-5 year roadmap - products/ projects/ partnerships/ resources/ milestones/ governance/ communication, metrics) connecting across work streams
- Foster & manage the broader ECP and Biogen buy-in with appropriate communication/ information/ approvals and regular engagement with functional and regional leaders
- Ensure connectivity and alignment with ECP and Biogen corporate strategy and represent ECP in key strategic project teams

**Qualifications**:

- 8+ years of experience in working & managing cross functional teams
- 5+ years in industry strategy role or management consulting in driving large/complex programs and initiatives
- Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, insights and translate them into specific conclusions and recommendations to inform investment decisions, priorities, risks and opportunities
- Excellent ability to create, imagine, convince across a matrix
- Digital expert / deep understanding of technology and key market trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to drive clarity, cross-functional collaboration and accountability towards proven results and crisp decision making
- Strong work ethic with the drive and willingness to go the extra mile
- An entrepreneurial spirit and creativity that sparks capacity for building and growing business
- Strong operational skills; project/ timeline management capabilities
