Your Team

In our Integration Domain, we provide banks a sustainable path in combining Avaloq and ecosystem products value propositions. You will be part of the team driving the integration in projects between different third parties and Avaloq as Stream Leader and as Technical Consultant you will help the Solution Manager to define a proper integration based on the standard product offer. In the project team there are also external consultants, and you will have the ownership to validate that their implementations are in line with the specifications.

We are looking for a strong consultant who has both business acumen and technical experience, to become part of this domain, driving the interactions and collaboration with existing and potential clients.

Your mission

Working closely with Project Managers, Solution Managers, Product teams and Clients, you will:

- During pre-sales activities, act as a technical consultant identifying the right Avaloq integration solutions according to the client requirements and providing estimates for related project efforts. You will be responsible to define the interface specification as well.
- During project implementations, coordinate integration domain activities and contribute to implementation tasks.
- As part of our stream leader team, continuously contribute to standardize and improve how we run integration implementations by better documenting implementation procedures and by suggesting product and service improvement.
- Interpret business requirements and issues, recommend solutions and best practices.
- As a stream leader, you are the key reference person for clients and project managers of SaaS projects where the Integration domain products and services are used.
- In certain period if there are no projects you will contribute to the product development.

**Qualifications**:
What you need
- Professional experience as technical consultant gathering client requirements and designing banking solutions in partnership with development teams
- Extensive experience in building and configuring IT integration products, preferably within the financial industry
- Previous back-end engineering and/or solution architecture experience
- Superior know how of the most relevant IT integration patterns
- Great communicator able to well explain complex technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep strategic mindset with entrepreneurial drive, openness and dynamism
- Excellent communication using the English language, negotiation and presentation techniques and having great collaboration and team spirit

You will get extra points for the following
- Understanding of Java and Spring Boot microservice implementation
- OpenShift or Kubernetes know how
- Familiarity in streaming technology like Kafka and messaging protocol like JMS
- Avaloq product know-how
- Avaloq, wealth management or private banking knowledge
