**Your responsibilities**:
- Pioneering novel and innovative concepts at the convergence of power electronic converters and microgrid integration related to converter protection, protection coordination, load sharing, and stabilizing control.
- Conducting in-depth stability analyses of grids and microgrids dominated by converters, ensuring robust performance under various conditions.
- Taking the lead in initiating and actively participating in microgrid-related projects, demonstrating unwavering commitment to their success.
- Engaging in effective communication and collaboration with our business partners to foster synergy and successful project outcomes.
**Your background**:
- PhD in electrical engineering, power electronics, control, or a related discipline with an outstanding scientific track record.
- Demonstrating hands-on expertise in unit-level and top-level microgrid control schemes, including grid forming control, droop control or virtual generator control.
- Proficiency in the operation and control of AC and/or DC microgrids.
- Experience in handling microgrid hardware layers, encompassing converters, protection concepts, and communication protocols.
- Desirable experience in conducting stability analyses of microgrids and converter-dominated grids, further enhancing the depth of expertise.
- Familiarity with ancillary services provision using converters, such as frequency control or virtual inertia, is considered a valuable asset.
- Fluent in English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
