The research group „Ocular Pharmacology and Physiology” at the Department of Biomedicine is looking for a postdoctoral level scientist with interest in brain waste clearance. The focus of our research is to understand how toxic metabolites such as amyloid-beta and others are cleared from the cerebrospinal fluid and the brain, and how this process can be leveraged therapeutically. The starting date is open.

- Designing, planning and performing animal experiments
- (Immuno-)histochemical tissue analysis
- Generation and analysis of novel reporter mouse lines
- Isolation of cells for single cell RNA-Seq analysis
- Supporting Ph.D. students
**Your profile**
- Ph.D. in life sciences
- Hands-on experience with mouse models
- Experience with intrathecal injection in mouse
