**Let us describe the challenge we **offer**
We are now looking to hire a student or newly graduate for a traineeship focusing on supporting our own retail and test drive operations in Switzerland. This year, we are planning to open several new locations in Switzerland. Combined with having many various events planned, this is the perfect time to bring in someone eager in the field, ready to practice their educational skills, where we can offer a steep learning curve and practical experience in a global EV-tech company.

The Business Development team is responsible for the expansion and operations of the retail network in Switzerland. We also organize unique test drive events to reach customers throughout Switzerland.

This is a full-time temporary position for one year starting as soon as possible. The position is based in Zürich, Switzerland with the possibility to work from home a couple of days per week. The role involves frequent travel to Space locations in Bern and Lausanne as well as to various event locations around Switzerland.

**What you'll do**
As a Test Drive & Space Operations Trainee you will support the Business Development Team in the planning and execution of test drive events throughout Switzerland and at the same time be our product specialist on site.

For example, you will:

- Support with planning and execution of test drive events throughout Switzerland
- Accompany potential customers through this experience in the Space and at events on site
- Provide potential customers with information about Polestar, our products and the world of electric mobility in general
- Maintain our CRM by recording various data in connection with the test drive in Salesforce
- Be our contact person at the events, make suggestions for improvement and implement improvement measures independently in consultation with the team
- Schedule test drives and follow up on customers by walking them through the purchasing process
- Act as a role model for Polestar's culture and behaviors
- Inspire and coach customers to create the energy and excitement around Polestar offers, including vehicle, financing solutions, service etc.

Experience in the automotive industry is not mandatory for this position, but you should bring the following:

- You are a student or a newly graduate within a relevant field of education
- The ability to quickly become the expert on all Polestar products and services
- Experience in a client-oriented retail environment, event industry and/or the automotive industry
- Fluency in German and French, high conversational level as this position requires you to communicate with teams and customers in these languages

This role will require a valid driving license, an acceptable safe driving record, and the ability to work in shifts, for example during evenings and weekends.
