Polymer Chemist in Sorbent Industrialization

Your mission is to develop and synthesize structural polymers; you optimize the synthesis to be readily scaled-up.
- You develop novel synthesis methodologies and strategies to improve the overall efficiency of the sorbent production.
- You carry out testing campaigns to validate and further enhance the performance of sorbent materials within novel and established processes.
- You characterize the materials according to given chemical and physicochemical processes.
- You help validate, troubleshoot, and document the different process control routines
- You are looking forward working 80% in the lab.

You have completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry with a focus on polymer synthesis.
- You have at least 2 years of work experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
- You bring advanced knowledge in polymer synthesis, preferably having experience in suspension and emulsion polymerization.
- You are organized, tidy and capable of generating high level reports.
- You take ownership and thrive working in a fast paced and challenging environment with ambitious goals.
- You are fluent in English and any German knowledge is a plus.
