**The Role**

**Head of Engineering**
- 5+ years experience in IT and networks
- Up to €120k+ depending on experience
- 2/3 days a week in office in Switzerland
- Flat Hierarchy
- Managing a team of 10 engineers

**Tasks**:

- Providing service activities for our customers' security systems through telephone, remote, and on-site support.
- Managing Engineers on both technical and none technical
- Installing systems and independently planning and implementing changes, including security patch installations.
- Assisting customers in improving and developing their security infrastructure.
- Acting as a competent point of contact for internal customer departments.
- Collaborating with the internal incident handling team to resolve issues.
- Main focus areas include mailing, web proxy, firewall, Linux, EDR, network separation, VPN structures, and monitoring.

**Essential**:

- Possessing several years of experience in network operations and operating security infrastructures.
- Working independently and in a structured manner, with a focus on documenting work for team understanding.
- Demonstrating strong teamwork skills and being a collaborative team player.
- Having excellent written and spoken German and English skills, or exceptional technical expertise alternatively.
- Embracing an altruistic mindset, prioritizing collective success over individual achievements.
- Having good to very good academic grades, or the ability to provide an explanation if they are average.
