**Position Overview**:
Bcomp Ltd. is a young and dynamic Swiss company specialized in natural fibre composites.
large-scale automotive industries.
The R&D department needs support to produce and test material samples, research, develop
and validate new or existing material solutions and processes. This may involve being assigned to a long-running development project with important responsibilities and / or smaller
supporting tasks for the R&D team.

**Qualifications and Personal Qualities**:

- B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Interest in composite manufacturing and materials science.
- Knowledge and understanding of standard test methods for composites.
- Some experience in workshop tools handling is a plus.
- Driving curiosity for independent problem solving.
- Structured way of working with an ability to handle many projects in parallel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. French or German is a plus.

**We Offer**:

- 1’500 CHF / month gross salary (pro rata).
- 2.5 weeks paid vacation for 6 months (pro rata).
- High level of expertise to learn from and progress on composite manufacturing, test ing, design, life cycle analysis, etc.
- Flexible and welcoming work environment.
- Automatic authorship for publications / patents related to the work.

Many full-fledged engineers at Bcomp were once interns who had shown the right interest, initiative and technical skills to be offered a position at the end of their Master’s studies
