**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop scalable processes for antibody drug conjugates, non-cytotoxic modified antibodies or other bioconjugates for external customers
- Plan, supervise and evaluate laboratory experiments
- Present results internally as well as externally
- Collaborate within Lonza's multifunctional project teams and with external customers
- Lead process development projects for preclinical programs and serve as the primary on-site interface for customers
- Optionally manage, develop and coach up to five lab technicians
- Anticipate, evaluate and implement trends and innovations in the area of expertise

**Key requirements**:

- Master degree or PhD in life sciences, ideally with a multidisciplinary background relevant for the bioconjugation field. In case of Master degree, 3 to 4 years industry experience in relevant area required.
- Process development experience
- Excellent communication skills and soft skills to build solid relationships
- Strong team player
- Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; agile, highly motivated and dynamic; solution-oriented
- Fluent in German and English
