Who is hiring?

For a big Swiss Firm based in Zug, we are looking for a Tax Manager for International Direct Tax Reporting

Tasks
- Working in close co-operation with teams from Accounting, Consolidation, Legal professionals and liaise with teams in various operating regions around the world
- Direct reporting line to the Group Head of Tax Reporting
- Tax reporting responsibility for designated countries worldwide
- Analyse the effective tax rate (ETR), return to provision, deferred and current tax calculations in accordance with IAS12 and IAS34
- Liaise with reporting entities to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax reporting packages
- Deal with ad-hoc tax reporting queries
- Support the preparation of the tax disclosure note for the annual report
- Prepare training material, coordinate, and provide IAS12 trainings on a regular basis to ensure tax reporting knowledge is kept up to date within the tax reporting teams worldwide
- Support in designing and rolling out Pillar II processes and tools and preparation of Pillar II computations
- Actively monitor external tax developments with its relevance for Glencore and communicate it to internal stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- University degree (Economy, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting preferable)
- 2-4 years proven experience post qualification in a tax reporting role of an international company
- Basic knowledge of international direct tax standard
- Solid knowledge of international reporting standards especially IFRS and local GAAP
- Working independently to prepare, analyse and report financial information on a timely and high-quality manner
- Attention to details, ability to set priorities and to meet tight deadlines with competing priorities
- Solution oriented, ability to cope with complexity
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- English written and spoken mandatory, other languages a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and flexible environment
- Excellent team player, open minded and initiative personality
