Are you interested in the field of sales and looking for a career start in this area? As a sales trainee, you have the opportunity to do this without being required to have work experience in sales. This position will provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to be successful as a sales representative. If further sustainability is important to you and you are interested in the latest technologies, then join our young and dynamic team in Zurich as a Sales Trainee with the prospect of a permanent position.

We are LEDCity, a cleantech start-up founded in Zurich, with the goal of reducing energy consumption in the lighting sector worldwide by 80%. To achieve this, we are developing a globally deployable lighting system that uses sensors to control the lighting according to demand.

Tasks

**Main tasks**:

- Acquire new customers and build long-term business relationships.
- Learn how to be an energy efficiency specialist: analyze lighting systems, recommend efficient solutions, and show our customers how to save energy.
- Manage your own projects: from the first call to the final completion. You remain the contact person for your customers - also after finishing the project.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve sales targets and goals.
- Use your analytical skills: For example by analyzing consumption patterns and behaviors in the lighting market.

**Side tasks**:

- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to reach potential customers and increase brand awareness.
- Support Internal Sales with coordination of client projects.

**Requirements**:
Your Must Have’s
- You possess a high degree of self-motivation and drive.
- You have the ability and desire to sell.
- Sustainability is important to you, and you are interested in the newest technologies.
- Outbound Calling: You are not afraid to pick up the phone to convince potential customers.
- You have a start-up mentality and possess the necessary portion of flexibility.
- You have excellent written and oral German skills, ideally also Swiss German and a good command of English.

Your Nice to Have’s
- You are a university graduate - ideally in electrical engineering and information technology, environmental engineering, building automation, facility management, and business administration.
- You have first work experience - as Intern, Part-Time Employee or similar roles.
