**Our client is a leading alternative investment manager based in the region, with affiliated offices worldwide while they manage over $76 billion in AUM.**
**They have a challenging opening for a experienced Tax professional with excellent English**

**TAX EXPERT (Structuring Team)**
- You will be part of a professional and diverse team shaping the product offerings (liquid / semi-liquid)
- Responsible for the development and execution of tax strategies that align with business objectives
- Responsible for tax structuring across our liquid market’s investment, also support investment structuring with tax due diligence
- Monitor various investment structures ensuring their compliance with tax requirements, (comingled investment funds, certificates, dedicated client mandates, managed accounts, SPVs, and other investment vehicles)
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, (tax returns, filings, and documentation)
- Review and enhance tax policies, procedures, and controls to ensure best practices and compliance across the organization
- Support strategic tax projects and continuously screen tax legislation changes, and provide recommendations to mitigate tax risks and maximize tax benefits
- Coordinate and manage external tax counsels, auditors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Requirements_
- University degree in law or business administration or etc. with emphasis on Tax
- With at least 4 years of experience as a tax expert in cross-border tax matters (i.e. Europe, USA, or Asia) gained at (Big 4, or a recognized law firm, or in-house at a large investment fund manager
- Excellent communicator English (legal English), with the ability to clearly discuss complex legal concepts
- Self-starter and motivated individual who can identify own goals, take initiative, and drive projects to completion;
