**Head of Commercial Legal - Industry & Consumer - Full Time - Baar, Switzerland**

Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, the head of Commercial Legal, Industry & Consumer is responsible for providing hands-on legal support to medmix industry and consumer (beauty) business segments, with a focus on establishing and maintain strong partnerships with our global and local clients, support innovation partnerships, procurement initiatives and contract lifecycle management, support medmix growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

**In this role you will be accountable for**:
Commercial
- Be accountable to provide direct legal support to both the Head of the industry segment (Swiss-based) and the Head of the beauty segment (Germany based) and their respective leadership teams (globally based) in their business and commercial activities, strategy deployment and geographical expansion.
- Support the drafting and negotiation of contractual arrangements, the establishment of partnerships, frame arrangement, development and manufacturing of exclusive products and associated services.
- Be the sparring partner of the leadership teams in strategic projects, commercial or otherwise.
- Train business teams on contracts, risk mitigation and contract management, coordinate life cycle management.
- Organize and supervise the network of outside counsels globally to ensure that local operations are appropriately supported.
- Manage disputes and litigations as required, assess contractual risks and opportunities.

Innovation and collaboration
- Directly support and enable commercial, research & development and innovation partnerships with clients, research centers to enhance the innovation leadership of medmix, though joint or co-development. This function would also extend into other business segments of medmix.

Procurement
- Advise and directly support the sourcing and procurement teams in the identification, negotiation of global and local sourcing of goods and services (including raw materials, machines, engineering, real estate, energy, transport) and associated activities.

Legal operations
- Accompany the General Counsel in the shaping of an engaged and highly efficient legal department
- Support medmix global operations as requested

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Qualified attorney with a demonstrated broad experience in commercial contracts negotiation, execution, and management in numerous geographies.
- 10+ law firm and/or in-house relevant experience in the field of commercial law. Financial or business education a plus.
- Hands-on legal experience either in the industry sector (construction, automotive, electronics, chemical, aerospace) and/or the consumer sector (branded products, beauty and cosmetic), a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in business growth and transformation.
- Gravitas, stamina, and executive presence.
- Strong commercial acumen, appealed by global manufacturing and sales organizations
- Get things done. Good strategic-pragmatic mix, reliable, autonomous, agile, driven with sharp attention to details.
- Able to negotiate alongside procurement and commercial teams, able to read the room, to identify long term consequences of what is negotiated.
- Straight to the point. Collaborative, positive mindset, empathy, and strong business partner attitude.
- Enjoy mingling with diverse colleagues, able to operate globally successfully thanks to its cultural awareness
- Sense of humor a strong plus
- English & German full business and legal fluency essential.
