ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
COTY is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join COTY's Travel Retail Global Merchandising team. As the Merchandising and Trade Shows Lead GTR, you will work closely with brand teams from one of the largest Beauty portfolio in the world, with Trade Shows associations and more importantly, retailers operating in all the airports globally.
You will report directly to the Merchandising Director Global Travel Retail, based also in Geneva.

THE ROLE

**In this role you will**:
Lead from start to the end the TFWA Trade Shows of Singapore and Cannes. This involves negotiating and partnering with the TFWA association, all the brand teams of Coty,
the agencies and suppliers. Success will be driven by project management superiors skills, creativity/ innovations at the forefront of everything we do and strong budget & timings tracking.
Deliver strategic in-store action plan, by launches, to support the regions to precisely estimate their merchandising needs and drive the right priorities. Identify, communicate, activate and monitor opportunities to further drive perfection in-store.
Work closely with the brand teams in delivering merchandising permanent and temporary toolboxes to support our luxury fragrances brands / innovations, maximize the shopping experience, participate in the growth of COTY’s Portfolio and gain market share. Deploy merchandising guidelines & processes to the different regions and help the team to secure smooth transition.
Present Permanent in-store projects to the brand teams and seek for doorS approval. For 3 axis projects align the design with the brand teams and fashion houses. Propose and enable specific merchandising solutions for Travel Retail (i.e. tools for TREX items, gifting etc.). Captain the regional teams for best-in-class executions as per brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the Travel Retail regional merchandisers on extraordinary projects (avant premiere, outstanding pop ups, category projects etc.) that require global logistics and support.
Co-lead with the Travel Retail global merchandisers the planograms strategy for our launches, to make sure we boost the productivity of the spaces.
Stay up to date with knowledgeable about disruptive retailing and trends. Monitor competition initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Highly motivated self-starter, capable of working & collaborating in a team environment.
5+ years proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the Beauty Industry.
5+ years successfully working with external partners (suppliers, agencies, retailers).
Expert in global project management (logistics/creativity/budget expertise), leaving no space for doubt & delay, keeping track & history of each tiny step of any project. A captain in leading events that leaves a memorable experience to the audience.
Ability to direct and collaborate in a highly matrix organization, with different regions and cultures.
Proven record of success presenting/interacting with leadership team level.
Motivation and excellent communication skills to get the desired results and influence strongly internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
Creative mind with a can-do attitude to pilot projects that have never been seen in-store.
Sound business judgment to deliver tools and innovations that make sense financially.
English proficiency (French a plus) & IT literacy (MS Office and Photoshop, Illustrator).
