Overview:

For its Cressier site, Bio-Rad is now looking for a
**Supply Assurance Buyer**
**(M/F/d) 100%, temporary mission (6-8 months)**.

**Responsibilities**:
The Supply Assurance Buyer is responsible to purchase the materials and services used in the manufacturing operations for Roanne, Schiltigheim and Cressier. She/He ensures the quality, deadlines, pricing, following the defined purchasing strategy and the rules in place.

**Insure PO lifecycle management**:

- Process orders in a timely manner and in compliance with best practices
- Recognize and reconcile any potential order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays, pricing errors, and out of stock situations to ensure orders will deliver on time and in full
- Utilize reporting to identify and reconcile order exceptions which could cause delays in deliveries/production.
- Ensure quality issues follow-up. These activities are executed in close regard to the Supplier Management Process and the other internal policies

**Communication**:

- Provide timely information regarding order processing, procedures, and system updates
- Resolve and/or escalate critical order issues to achieve manufacturing goals and priorities
- Direct contact with suppliers

**Data**:

- Open and update the data to ensure the business continuity according to the rules in place

**Other**:

- Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
- Replacement within the team and support of the group.

Qualifications:

- Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
- You have 1-3 years of experience in the purchasing industry
- Your mother tongue is French or German with a good knowledge of the other language and you have basic knowledge in English
- Good oral and written communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills with a good organizational competence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office
- You have SAP/R3 user knowledge (an asset)
