**Sustainability Internship (6months, full time)**:

ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) want to proactively address all sustainability and environmental aspects of ELDS portfolio and become leading player on the market. We are offering to outstanding students the chance to join our multidisciplinary team in the field of Circularity and Sustainability. In the frame of a six-month internship, you will be able to put theory into practice by contributing to our projects on product sustainability and Life Cycle Assessment. - Make it your story

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support Life Cycle Assessment activity and improve the data collection process
- Support our Global Sustainability team with research and documentation e.g. for the circularity assessments, circular design guidelines, circular material kits
- Explore sustainable alternatives for raw materials (metals, plastics), explore options to implement recycled content or biobased materials
- Identify options for pilot projects
- Actively monitoring sustainability and environmental legislation
- Collaborate with different functions and stakeholders
- Evaluate and document findings and present test results to the team

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student in environmental science or engineering.
- Good understanding of Life cycle assessment methodology
- Analysis skills, ideally including data analytics
- Knowledge in execution of LCAs, specifically with SimaPro, would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in the field of sustainability gained through project work, internships or extracurricular activities.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated mindset and ability to work independently
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
