Research Associate

**Research Associate at the Intersection of Management and Psychology**:
**100%, Zurich**, fixed-term

The **Chair of Organizational Behavior **(Department of Management, Technology, and Economics (D-MTEC)) is looking for a Research Associate to work on research projects that lie at the intersection of management and psychology.

**Project background**

The overall goal of our project is to examine the factors that might foster exploration and creativity in organizations. To do so, we focus on intra
- and interindividual antecedents such as power motivation, mindset, and psychological states. We further explore what supporting and engaging in exploratory and creative actions signals to observant others (e.g., in terms of leadership and competence perceptions). Our group uses behavioural science methodologies such as experiments, surveys, and field studies.

**Job description**

You will work closely with Dr Ece Ercel who is leading this project. Tasks will include:

- conducting literature reviews
- contributing to the idea development and the empirical design of the studies
- developing your own research ideas within this area
- collecting, and analyzing the data, and contributing to the manuscripts

**Your profile**
- Master’s degree (research master) in psychology, management, behavioural science, organizational science, behavioural economics, or a related field
- A keen interest in the topics of creativity, innovation, and leadership in organizations
- Experience in conducting laboratory/online experiments and surveys
- Strong skills in statistics and quantitative data analysis, hands-on experience with SPSS, R, or Python
- Proficient English skills (both written and oral)
- Very good academic writing skills
- Very good communication skills, proactive and collaborative personality, reliable and professional work attitude
