**Your role**
- Interested in working in finance, specifically working with data sets and mathematical formulas, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Quantitative Risk Modelling Summer Internship Program.

You’ll get to:

- develop and maintain various models (ex: banking and trading, counterparty credit risk exposure) according to regulatory and business requirements
- develop prototype codes and testing tools that will be used in various productive systems
- collaborate with quantitative analysts to share insights and develop global analysis frameworks
- work closely with cross-functional team members to improve our digital products

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in alongside the UBS Quantitative Risk Modelling (QRM) team in Zurich. Our team develops, refines implements and maintains mathematical, statistical and risk model frameworks. As the firm is in the business of risk intermediation, we buy and sell financial risks across the globe and across time.

**Your expertise**
- is currently enrolled in studies in a numerate (mathematics, econometrics) or technical domain (computer science, quantitative finance, physics) studies and will graduate in late 2025 or 2026
- has gained relevant skills in quantitative analysis and statistical models through courses, projects or work experience and has data analytics and programming skills (i.e., R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, Excel knowledge, C++ and Java are a plus)
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Start date: July 2026

**Your program**
- During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
