Training Manager for Audiology Training

Are you an Audiologist or Hearing aid Specialist with experience in training hearing aids technology, fitting software and apps? We are looking for a Training Manager to lead our Bernafon|Sonic|Philips Training and Product Support team based in Bern, Switzerland. Your main tasks are to lead and motivate a team of experienced International Product Trainers, to create online and offline training material yourselves and organize and conduct training of audiologists and hearing aid dispensers in our sales companies, distributors, and large customer networks.

Become a part of the Global Training team

As our new Training Manager, you will be part of the Global Training team consisting of 17 international colleagues working with the four hearing instrument brands of Demant: Oticon, Bernafon, Sonic and Philips. The team plays a key role in driving our business forward by delivering state-of-the-art training solutions. This ensures that the Demant Hearing Group organizations globally maintain a high knowledge level with regards to products, technologies, audiology and fitting systems which enable them to meet our customers and sell Demant solutions in a professional and high-skilled manner.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage the Training and Product support team based in Bern.
Maintain a deep knowledge of our hearing solutions, audiological concepts and user benefits with a special focus on our Bernafon|Sonic|Philips hearing aids.
Turn your knowledge into relevant training materials that work in a train the trainer set-up with a high focus on commercial deployment in our sales companies around the world and for international customers.
You will work closely with key stakeholders in Marketing and Audiology to develop professional and easy to understand product training material, videos and e-learning.
Conduct face-to-face and virtual trainings of very knowledgeable internal and external stakeholders from our sales companies and customers around the world.
Identify knowledge gaps and design audiology training tracks accordingly.
As a member of the Global Training Leadership team, you will take active part in finding and harvesting synergies between the training concepts for our four hearing aid brands.

You will also participate actively in the team’s effort to develop new and innovative training methods to help Demant maintain a leading position in professional training.

**Your profile**:
Degree in Audiology or equivalent master diploma as Hearing Aid Specialist.
At least 5 years of work experience in clinical hearing aid fitting.
Good knowledge of hearing aid technology and fitting software.
Experience in Audiology and Product training, capable of leading a team to success.
Excellent communication skills both orally and written that enables you to craft communication to your target audience with crystal clear messages. Experience working with graphical layouts and the principles of story lining considered a plus.
Excellent written and spoken English; any other language is a plus (i.e. Spanish, German, French).
Good training and presentation skills, open-minded, outgoing personality.
Skilled to do Audiology lectures at industry meetings and Audiology conventions.
Enjoys working in an international set-up interacting with many very diverse stakeholders.
Willing to travel internationally (30%) from your home base in Switzerland.
