**Your responsibility**
- Definition and further development of technical portfolio management framework for the non-life business of Helvetia Group
- Operational monitoring and support of the implementation and further development of portfolio management processes in the market units
- Providing expertise and advice on the structure, methodology and quantitative and qualitative dimensions of technical portfolio management
- Identification of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks of portfolios in the market units and initiation of corresponding measures
- Management and coordination of processes between the markets units and the Group relating to portfolio management (e.g. profitability reviews)
- Managing the interfaces to the Group's specialist units and to the markets units (mainly underwriting, pricing, reserving, finance and claims).
- Development and management of an international team
**Your qualification**
- Established leader with broad experience in direct and indirect leadership;
- Many years of experience in management of underwriting portfolios, e.g. in line of business head, and/or portfolio management / actuarial functions in the insurance / reinsurance business (P&C)
- Track record in profitability and portfolio management of insurance portfolios across the entire insurance cycle
- Reflective and communicative personality with a multi-dimensional, contextual understanding of success;
- Skilled in maintaining relationships across different levels and countries
- Internationally mobile (travel in Europe) 30%
- Languages: German, English, Spanish; [French and/or Italian are an advantage]
