**Your team**:
**Pictet Asset Management (Pictet AM)** manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.
In this role, you will join our Geneva-based Fixed Income Trading team and will be responsible for placing and executing fixed-income transactions in given markets with third-party brokers and custodians to achieve best execution on behalf of our institutional clients.

**Your role**:

- Placing and executing fixed-income and FX transactions, primarily on behalf of the Money Market franchise, as well as other Fixed Income franchises as a back-up.
- Providing opinions and insight on individual trades to investment management teams.
- Mitigating risk in areas of execution for Pictet AM.
- Controlling trade-related costs.
- Being personally motivated to use your own discretion to add value to the investment process/trade implementation.
- Developing contacts with brokers and investment managers.
- Ability to demonstrate best execution.

**Your profile**:

- 2-5 years’ experience in money market buy-side/sell-side trading or sales or a corporate treasury.
- University degree or qualification deemed equivalent.
- Strong mathematical and technological bent with the ability to process data effectively.
- Strong interest and good understanding of money market and short-term interest-rate products.
- Strong coding abilities and IT skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
- Highly organised - able to plan and manage time effectively to achieve competing objectives.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated, resolute and results-oriented.
- Fluent in English and French, German a strong plus.
- Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
