**Analytical Scientist Mass Spectrometry, 100%**

As an Analytical Scientist specializing in Mass Spectrometry, you will play a crucial role in our Analytics and MS Unit team. Your responsibilities will include:

- Independently identifying suitable methods for upcoming analytical challenges
- Developing and validating analytical methods
- Performing routine MS and LC analysis (MALDI, UPLC/LC-MS, HPLC) to support product development
- Performing detailed protein and glycan characterization using MS and LC based methods
- Maintaining MS and LC equipment
- Sample preparation tasks, including extraction, purification, buffer exchange, protein digestion, desalting, etc.
- Interpreting and summarizing results and presenting data in scientific meetings
- Managing interactions with external partners

You are an efficient, proactive and enthusiastic multi-cultural team player, motivated to bring tasks to completion with
- Proven hands-on experience in HPLC/UPLC and biochemical assay development
- Experience in developing analytical strategies and assays for characterizing biologics
- Experience in (bacterial) carbohydrate characterization is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, multi-cultural environment
- Familiarity with software tools for mass spectrometry, proteomics, and glycomics data analysis
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
