Research Project Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Research Project Coordinator to work on a project on_**_ HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) awareness, access and use in Switzerland_**_. This is a part-time position (40-60%), limited to 4 years starting November 2025._
**What you can expect**: The project is entitled “Is PrEP for all? An interdisciplinary approach to improve HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis awareness, access and use in Switzerland”, and is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). It aims at providing gender-sensitive, interdisciplinary, evidence-based guidance on how to improve PrEP awareness, access, and use among underserved and diverse populations in Switzerland. This project will be a collaboration between several universities in Switzerland and abroad, institutions active in HIV care and prevention, and the communities concerned by PrEP and/or HIV.
The Project Coordinator will develop, implement and coordinate research and administrative procedures for the successful management of the research project. The tasks will include communication across research teams and partners, regulatory affairs, reporting and outreach.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing project conduct and liaising with the different project teams and partners.
- Establishing contracts between project partners, including research teams, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Swiss HIV Cohort Study (SHCS), and the Community Advisory Group.
- Manage ethics approval processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, while also reporting scientific and financial progress to funding agencies.
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders (research partners, SNSF, SHCS, Community Advisory Group) and organize meetings, events, and the timely dissemination of information.
- Implementing DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) strategies within the project framework, ensuring inclusive practices across all stages

**Required Profile**:

- Education: Master's degree (MSc) in a relevant field.
- Experience:

- Proven experience in project management, ideally in an academic or research setting.
- Experience in conducting academic research.
- Familiarity with regulatory affairs and ethics approval processes for academic research.
- Previous involvement in DEI initiatives and/or community organisations, with a commitment to promoting inclusive practices, is a plus.
- Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively in English, German, and French.
- Proficiency in project coordination tools and practices.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
